On my older Lenovo and ThinkPad laptops they would pop up an alert message to warn me that my battery was getting low and I needed to plug in to recharge. On both my older and newer HP laptops I do not have any such tool. I know that I can set a Windows alarm to beep when the battery gets low but no matter what I choose, it is never loud or obnoxious enough to get my attention and I end up working thru it. I don't lose data since my laptops will go into hybernate and then shut down when they get to low battery level but this can be annoying and time consuming.
Does anyone know of a way to have some type of message pop up and warn me when the battery level gets low?
