Hi guys,
Recently my G62 laptop had some problems. It started up but gave me a blank screen, with the CAPSLock lights indicating that the motherboard is faulty. I sent it in for repair and the technician confirmed that it is the motherboard. I removed the hard drive and it could start up, with the HP logo and everything,except of course without the operating system, I can't use the laptop. But I was wondering if the motherboard is faulty, why does it only stop working when the hard drive is attached to the laptop? I hope someone can enlighten me on the matter. Thanks!
