My laptop has had this problem ever since i got it that it won't connect some programs to servers.
For example steam won't connect, microsoft office wouldn't connect so i could activate it (i got around it) and malwarebytes won't update. I'm sure it isn't a windows firewall problem because i disabled it and it still didn't work.
I've had it for a while and it's always been like this. It's a HP pavilion DV6-2111AX, product number is WG321PA#ABG.
