I recently recieved a new laptop for Christmas and I spent all day yesterday updating it along with downloading Windows 8.1. After I did all this I decided to listen to the HP Support Assistant and download the updates from the HP Client. It took forever for them to actually download and install but once they completeled I noticed that some of them wouldn't install and that the scrolling on my touchpad had stopped working. When I attempt to open the settings for my touchpad I get an error stating, "control panel extension is incompatible with driver version" so I'm kind of at a loss here. The two updates that won't install are for the Real-Tek Audio Driver and CyberLink PowerDvD.
