Hi
I have an Hp pavilion dv6-2130ej entertainment laptop PC.
It is connected to power, and everything is working, but for some reason it's not charging the battery.
I've tried everything in HP support - Testing battery using HP system Diagnostics, and also using HP support Assistant - both gave me the same message that battery is not installed. the battery was installed, and identified by the device manager.
I've also tried something that was suggested here in the forum - uninstalling the Microsoft ACPI-Complaint Control Method Battery , and then taking the battery out, put it back in and scan for device updates - That didn't work out as well.
I am pretty desperate. I'm moving to a different country in a week and it's really not a good time for having problems with my laptop (need it for work)
should i just buy a new battery??
would appreciate any kind of help.
