So recently, I had to "reset" my computer to it's original factory settings and I do have backup disks for it but when I put them in, the only options that shows up is "open folder to view files." When I open the folder, there is another folder called "backup files", when I open that, there are files that say 0.wim, 1.wim, 2.wim, (or something similar anyway) and so forth. I click on it and it just say "choose the program you want to use to open this file" or "browse programs". There is also a choice to look online for a program and I did that and I downloaded one that it said would work (7-Zip). I also learned what a WIM file is. I have very important documents, pictures, and music on my backup DVDs. If anyone would know how to get my backup back onto my computer please let me know and if there is any questions about the problem at hand, please ask and I will do my best to answer them.:smileyhappy: Thank you for your help!
