USB driver issues for a HP G42-415DX Notebook PC

Hello,

I have a HP G42-415DX Notebook PC. My USB ports just stopped working for some reason.

In Device manager, all the Universal Serial bus communications  have an exclamation point next to it.. In the properties section under general, the device status reads 

"Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)"

I've deleted the drivers completely and tried to reinstall the drivers from the downloads section but I get the same message.
