I have an HP Pavilion g6-2016TX which has 2 USB 3.0 Superspeed ports. However the actual read write speed of the ports is around 30 MB/S which is akin to those of USB 2.0 ports. On googling this problem, I found that my USB root hub is operating at High Speed mode - which gives the USB 2.0 speed - 480Mbps and to get USB 3.0 speed- 5Gbps, the ports need to operate in the Superspeed mode. My question is that how do I change the operating speed of my USB ports from High to Super?
