I have a HP Envy 1040-nr. The laptop was giving me message that the hard disk was failing, but the laptop was working fine, until one fine day, the laptop will not even turn on. I thought if I replaced the hard disk, maybe the problem will go away, but unfortunately it did not. When I hold the power on switch down, the lights come on, and I can hear the cooling fan turn on, but then it just turns off again. Please help.
