hi there, i have a hp pavilion g4-2036TU laptop which is no longer than 2 years old. it was working fine until an evening when the lappy suddenly switched off on its own following a strange sound inside it. thinking that my battery died, i bought a new battery. dear lappy did not seem to like the new one and didnot work with that too. now it switches on only with ac power. i will just summarize the problem: only battery=does not switch on, battery+adapter=doesnot switch on, only adapter=switches on..... i even went to an authorised hp service centre,they said i have a faulty motherboard and charged me 1700 bucks saying that they repaired... can anyone please help me
