Wake Up Spectre XT Ultrabook With Mouse

I have a Spectre XP TouchSmart Ultrabook 15-4011nr runing WIndows 8.1.  About 3/4 of the time, I use it as a desktop replacement with an external monitor, keyboard and mouse (wireless usb).  It is normally stored, closed, in a shelf in the monitor stand.  I would like to be able to wake it up with an external mouse or keyboard movement, but I can't seem to make that happen.

I've set the mouse properties to wake it up.  I've looked at the BIOS settings and don't see anything obvious there.

Any suggestions?
