My notebook won't turn on with the AC adapter alone and will only turn on with the battery of I charge said battery in another computer with the same AC Adapter.<br><br>I've done the usual power test, even tried the uninstalling ACI stuff but to no avail.<br><br>When I put the charged battery back into the laptop and plug the same AC Adapter into my notebook is shows 'plugged in, but not charging'. It's an Hp Pacillion Dv6z - 3100.<br><br>I've suspected that it may be the charger port that may be bad. Computer works absolutely fine on charged battery but just refuses to charge.<br><br>Please help, thank you.
