The wireless network on my notebook (Pavilion DM4 1165 DX; OS is Windows 7) gets dropped seconds after the network adapter (or the computer, itself) is restarted. This issue started happening couple years ago shortly after I bought my notebook - I completely stopped using the notebook because of this reason, until now.
I have scoured other forums, and these are the actions I have taken:
1. Ensured that all the network adapters in the device manager are up to date
2. Changed the advanced settings for the network card to the following:
a. If it has a Roaming Aggressiveness setting set that to Lowest.
b. Make sure the transmit power is set to Highest.
Neither of these has resolved the problem.
Please help.
