HP Pavillion dv6-3230 Laptop with Windows 7: Whenever I load software on my laptop, it will put a desktop icon/shortcut on my personal user account desktop - however, it also automatically puts the same icons on the desktops of the user accounts I have set up for my grandchildren. BUT I don't want them to have access to all software programs, etc. How can I delete those icons/shortcuts off their desktops without it removing them from my desktop. I have tried moving them to the Recycle Bin when I am in their user account, but then when I go to my user account desktop, that same icon is moved from my desktop. I used to know how to do this; but somewhere along the way with the newer versions of windows, I no longer know how to do this. Help would be greatly appreciated!. . .from SahInTx
