I have just updated my OS to Windows 8.1. Since doing this the two finger scroll and edge swiping functions on my touchpad have stopped working. I have been into the mouse settings and synaptics settings and the relevant boxes are ticked. When going into the Change Mouse Pointers menu from the Personalization window I get the error message Synaptics Pointing Device - Control Panel Extension is Incompatible with Driver Version; upon okaying this the the Mouse Properties window appears.
