I know My product is out of Warrenty;however,I recently started getting a 301 message for my hard Drive! I ran a diagnostic and nothing shows as amiss!!! I think the only problem is the driver is from 6/21/2006 The sticker on the HD says it was made in 2011 and Neither HP or MS will update the **bleep** thing!!! I went to the "automatically find HP products" to look for a new driver update, I got to the point of "Scan my product";BUT the **bleep** thing WILL NOT SCAN!!! How am I supposed to get this BS nonfunctiong page to scan? I went to your Live Chat but Y'all refuse to help since I'm out of warrenty and want to charge Me some BS price just to look,and refuse to give any info on how I may fix it myself,greedy Basterds!!!
I went to manually look for my HD driver and it says it's not listed!???**bleep** IS WRONG HERE!???
How can something be made almost 6 years prior,not have any updates??? Much less no new driver software!???
I sure hope someone in the Community can help because everyone from HP so far seems to be a JOKE!!! :(
Microsoft is the same way,This piece-o-crap was shipped with numorus errors going back to 2 years before I even bought it brand new!!! Yet they refused to give me a new Laptop nor fix any problems either;after reseting to out of the box condition on Their advice,I also lost their live chat so now they want to charge Me too!!!!Then refuse to fix any problems unless I paid!!!
I know these things are NOT built to last but OMG It's barely 2.5 years old and should not be doing this!!!
Sorry if this offends anyone BUT Y'all have to understand the BS I've have gone through with this and the frustration I have from both HP and MS's unwillingness to help!!!
