Has anyone had experience with HP's repair process? Will they just swap my notebook out for some old refurbished piece of junk with a whole new set of problems or will I get my actuall machine back? Also I believe that my HDD died and obviously I was unable to erase it before sending it in. Will HP make sure that all my data is destroyed before they dispose or refurbish the disk? All my personal information is on there and the way these big companies are so sloppy with personal data anymore it has me wondering if I should just keep the old drive and purchase a new one even if it is still under warranty.
