I have bought this laptop which had a screen fault.... stayed black although sometimes, not everytime
i could see a very faint compac watermark..
then, after trying the reset methods. battery out, ac disconnected, ram out, internal battery out, hold
power switch down for two mins - it now doesnt boot at all.....
seems strange because there was no heat or stress to make any chips in the machine work or overload.
anyone any idea..
HP label says V6500
serial no is CNF 7393 TT7
on the same label by the barcode is V6630EM
strangely the screen is marked, top right at Presario V6000 although no sign its been tampered with.
