I recently called HP to get tech support to fix a relative's laptop. It had not been registered and I was told I had to register it in my name..even though it wasn't mine..in order to get a hard drive shipped. I did so..they sent a Toshiba hard drive? and the wrong restore disks..hard drive in..and when I finally got the correct restore disks the computer was given back to the relative. Apparently, they started having the same issues again..and got rid of the laptop. A month later I spoke to a complete stranger..the person with the laptop now..and was told that HP support gave him my name.. address.. etc!! I will NEVER deal with them again! What happened to privacy and information being secure?? When I called HP..the reps completely missed the point of why I was pissed!! They danced around the subject and simply ignored it..Never again..HP has gone to hell!!
