Helloo to all, this is my first post and my big problem. I have HP Pavilion dv7-4160em, that had some issuse with HDD, so i have testested all with HP test, and it ocured error in "RUN IN TEST" for HDD, i have made a test with "Hirens Boot" CD, memory is fine,MB looks fine,CPU looks fine,HDD test fail. So i went to the shop and i have bought a new HDD WD Scorpio Blue Sata II 500 gb. I have installed it and i have got a message "Non-System Disk Error" and i could not boot Win 7 from DVD to install a fresh copy on WIN 7. After couple hours of working and testing i have found no trouble, but in bios i found in log a error code "03F0" i dont know what is it.
I have taken out the new HDD insertet in other same HP Laptop and preinstall win 7 to the point of "completing install". When my laptop had reset, i have turned it off, took the WD HDD out and put it back in to the HP Pavilion dv7-4160em, and i have hoped it will worked. I was suprised and pleased when i saw it worked, the instalation has finnished to the and i put the WIN KEY and i have succed to enter in to the Win7 "fresh instalation". So i thought i have solve the problem, but after reset the windows 7 didnt boot normaly but booting the black screen with option "lunch repair windows" or "start windows normaly" because i could not start windows normlay i had to hit lunch repair winods, after couple hours of trying to repair boot sector,boot MBR and so on i didnt succed, i was very angry........ So im wondering in hopping for your help what could be else wrong. Thank you for your ansewr and i will paste picture of model,errors, type of my HP Pavilion dv7-4160em.
