Poor costumer care services

I bought an envy sleeve book last year. Three months later I had a big car accident. Within the accident a little part of the laptop (hitch that connect the monitor to keyboard) deformed.

 

I am a senior university student I don’t have free times and I need my laptop all the times. In other hand I though it is small issue so I didn`t go for repair at that time . But time by time this hitch problem effect the whole laptop such that the monitor de-attached from the keyboard.

 

Since I was so busy I waited. Until I found 1 week period off in my schedule. I gave my laptop to HP customer care services in Dubai and as I was told I can get my laptop within MAXIMUM one week. The repairing price was set around 185 USD while the same model brand new laptop is only 600 USD.

 

1 week passed and my university started and nothing happened. So I called them what is going on. They said it is not ready.

 

Since I was in urgent the day after I called and still it is not ready. I asked them to connect me to the complain department. At that time I noticed that they even hadn’t received the spare parts which include bazzle, back cover and graphical cable.

 

I was shocked and told him what is going on? My laptop was supposed to be ready in MAXIMUM one week.

She told me usually spare parts took 7 to 10 working days to deliver to their place.

 

I said ok but please follow up the case. I need my laptop urgent.

 

After 8 working days I received a call from them that spare parts are not received yet.

After 10 working days (and two weeks after I gave them my laptop) I called again and asked for my laptop.

Surprisingly the spare parts are not there even.

 

I got angry and I asked back my laptop so that I can give it to some other places. They refused to do it. An Indian woman who doesn’t care at all kept saying me we have not received the spare part and I have to wait.

 

Seriously I can’t wait any more. Now I am in final semester of my college and I need my laptop every single day.

 

Now my question who is responsible?

Why they told me it takes Maximum one week and now after two weeks they have not even got the spare parts?

Why they don’t give back my laptop so that I can go to other place?

 

To whom I should complain about poor services?
