I have an HP laptop (model number dm4-2015dx, product number LW478UA#ABA), and the mousepad has stopped working. It's not locked (neither the blue nor orange light is on in the top left corner of the actual mousepad), and I've already tried restarting it a few times with no luck. I have a USB mouse, and that works fine so it's just the mousepad. Also, I had some issues with the computer suddenly giving me a blue screen and then restarting itself, and to fix that my father tried installing a Bios update (he works in IT), but he said something about the update not going in properly. Otherwise, all updates are in that I know of. What might be causing my mousepad to be unresponsive and what can I do to fix it?
