B recently bought a HP ProBook 470 G3 with i7 CPU. When I got the notebook I placed my own memory and M.2 SSD in and performed a clean install of Windows 10 x64. Everything was fine, I installed all drivers and the notebook was working perfectly. However, when I flashed the new BIOS, V1.07 Rev A, I started having problems.
I use the notebook for school purposes, so I open and close it multiple times a day. After flashing the new BIOS, the notebook would sometimes not wake, and when trying to power it off I had to remove the battery. Even holding the on/off button for 20 seconds wouldn't help. When booting up after removing the battery, I would get a system fan error, error code 90B.
I tried re-flashing version 1.07, but eventually went back to version 1.06. That version works fine. It was a real let down to me, since this notebook costs €1400,- and should be a reliable business notebook.
Are their other people experiecing the same problems? If so, how did you fix this? And does anyone know when their will be a stable release of BIOS V1.07?
